Linda Giannecchini has worked independently for cooking shows, public affairs programs, sporting events, concerts, telethons, conventions, award shows, and corporate productions in the capacity of Producer, Director, Line Producer, Assistant Director, Production Coordinator, Electronic Graphics, Closed Captioner, or Event Planner. Currently, she is Senior Vice President for Franklin Mieuli & Associates (a consulting company specializing in sports remotes), and Assistant Director for KQED Public Media. Linda is a Life Member of NATAS and Chairs the National Awards Committee. She previously served as National Vice Chairman, Vice President and Secretary. Locally, Linda is a past President of the Chapter and chaired the Awards, Scholarship and Speakers’ Bureau Committees during her NATAS career. Linda currently serves as Co-Chair of the Media Museum of Northern California Consortium, the Archives/Museum Committee, and is a National Trustee. An Emmy® award recipient and member of the Silver Circle, Linda has been recognized with the Board of Governors’ Award (2011), and Service Medallion (1990). She holds memberships in RTNDA, Broadcast Legends, and AMIA. Linda received a B.A. in Broadcast Communication Arts and completed post-graduate studies from San Francisco State University. She has taught television production courses there and at College of San Mateo.
