The High School Student Production Awards are open to High Schools in Northern California, Reno and Hawaii. Students compete in 24 categories for the “Award of Excellence.” Categories range from Newscasts, Programs, Sports, Public Affairs to individual crafts.
Winners are awarded an acrylic pillar to the school and certificates for each student. Students are also elegable for the “Award of Merit: certificate. Pillars and certificates are presented to schools during their award ceremonies in May.
“Award of Excellence” winners move on to a National competition. The winners from all 19 NATAS chapters compete in the National contest this Fall.
