No stranger to hard work, Paula Marcheschi tackles the tough projects as Creative Director at ABC 7. She rolls up her sleeves, editing and polishing both news stories, long format programs and branding for the station. She started as an intern in 1991, became a production assistant, writer, producer, and editor while also working in promotions. A Bay Area native, she grew up watching the station she’s now working for but certainly never thought she’d end up spending 30 years at KGO. But that was her destiny and Marcheschi says she’s never been bored. Television doesn’t allow for that. It’s in a constant state of evolution and Marcheschi says as the business changes, so does she. Paula is completing her second term as Governor and has been appointed as a Vice-Chair to the Awards Committee of the Board of Governors of our chapter.
