CLASS OF 2005: A longtime member of the Academy, former president and administrator Dick Robertson* (Silver Circle 1998) was inducted into the Gold Circle on October 15, 2005. Dick had a long career in public relations working at KTVU, KRON, KQED and his own company Mother Lode Communications. Dick and his wife LaNore are serving on a two year mission for the LDS Church in Florada, still doing public relations California Chapter’s “Gold Circle“. CLASS OF 2004: Over one hundred gathered on Saturday, October 16th, at the Radisson Miyako Hotel, on Post Street in San Francisco for the induction of the Class of 2004 into the San Francisco/Northern California Chapter’s “Gold Circle”. CLASS OF 2002: The National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences (NATAS), San Francisco/Northern California Chapter premiered its prestigious “Gold Circle” on Saturday, October 26th, at the Marine’s Memorial Club, on Sutter Street in San Francisco, honoring individuals who have spent 50 or more years making significant contributions to the television industry. The charter members of this prestigious honor were: JACK LALANNE* (Silver Circle 1991) physical fitness guru; ELAINE LALANNE (Silver Circle 1991); LUCILLE BLISS (Silver Circle 1989) The lady of a thousand voices; DAVID MEBLIN*, syndication pioneer.
