Alex Savidge, morning news reporter at KTVU in Oakland, is throwing his alarm clock away. The station has named him evening anchor of its 4 p.m. and 7 p.m. newscasts. He began in his new role June 19.
Jake Weiderrich, executive producer at KIRO in Seattle, joins KTVU in Oakland as executive producer of Mornings On 2. He joined the station June 11.
Margaret Lenker, news producer at KEYT in Santa Barbara, joins KTVU in Oakland as a news producer of the station’s weekend and weekday morning newscasts. She joins the station this month.
