ALMA CARROLL. Now an award-winning free-lance writer/editor, Alma started her television career at KTVU in 1957.Since then she held positions at KQED-TV and KBHK-TV, and was a writer and production assistant for Quinn Martin, Hollywood . She was the first woman elected to office at the San Francisco Press Club, and was a Governor of this chapter, where she has been a member since 1963.
