The idea is to get extra festive watching the June 5 online Awards Show and Nominee Zoom Party at home by ordering bottles of sparkling wine delivered beforehand. (For California deliveries, June 2 is the suggested deadline to order for the bottles to arrive by the Gala.)

Breathless Wines is a family affair, owned by three sisters, Sharon Cohn, Cynthia Faust, and Rebecca Faust – guided by a winemaker with nearly 35 years experience, Penny Gadd-Coster. Instead of fermenting bulk wine in a pressurized stainless-steel tank, they take the approach of winemaking in the French method of fermentation in the individual bottles, méthode champenoise.
Our NATAS chapter hopes to organize an event and visit the Breathless winery in Healdsburg, especially to watch and learn sabrage, how to open a bottle with a saber! Stay tuned for that!
