After two years of Zoom interviews, remote meetings, and virtual Galas, we were thrilled to welcome you back, in person, to the 51st Annual Northern California Area Emmy® Awards Gala.
The 2022 Emmy® Gala included nods to several of our chapter’s regions and markets with treats from Reno and wine from Napa, Santa Cruz, and the Santa Clara Valley.
Our Emmy® Gala signature red wine was the Earthquake Cabernet Sauvignon from the Michael David Winery in Lodi.
Our Emmy® Gala signature white wine was Chardonnay Santa Cruz Mountains from Lightpost Winery in Morgan Hill.
Lightpost Winery also hosted our gala reception wine tasting.
After walking off the stage and onto the red carpet, Emmy® recipients were handed a celebratory glass of Emilie’s California Champagne’ from the Santa Clara Valley’s Guglielmo Winery.
In addition, attendees seated at premium tables were served two bottles of chilled Guglielmo bubbly to enjoy throughout the evening.
Both Guglielmo and Lightpost are part of the Wine Trail.
To make the evening just a little sweeter, each table was also treated to some of Reno’s finest chocolate thanks to a generous donation from Dorinda’s Chocolates in Reno!
Courtesy of our production partners, San Francisco Media Group, this year recipients could easily share their acceptance speeches with their family, friends, and followers! SF Media uploaded individual clips of each on-stage and red-carpet acceptance speech to the @EmmySFTV Facebook and YouTube pages.
At the end of a fabulous evening, guests were encouraged to take home their beautiful table centerpieces, designed by Floradora Floral Designs!
This year, they included a taste of the islands with exquisite topicals thanks to our floral sponsor, “Ai Pono Hawaii,” a holistic eating disorder recovery center on Maui.
Ai’Pono had the tropical flowers shipped over from Hawaii to honor the many Hawaii market nominees.
This night would not have been possible without our production partners at The San Francisco Media Group, and the hard work of our NATAS Emmy® Gala Committee, the Board of Governors, and our many Emmy® Gala volunteers.
