Sacramento duopoly KOVR and KMAX-TV have a new news director in Mike Dello Stritto. That announcement by the stations was made May 30.
Presently, Dello Stritto is news director at KTNV-TV in Las Vegas. He is no stranger to Sacramento and northern California television. This will be a return to KOVR for the veteran journalist; he previously worked at the station for seven years, first as a reporter, and then as managing editor and assistant news director. Following his years at KOVR, Dello Stritto became assistant news director at KPIX in San Francisco. He has been news director at KTNV-TV for the last three years.
