Sherry Hu has returned to KPIX in San Francisco. She retired in 2010 after 32 years as a news reporter at the CBS station. She first joined KPIX in 1978. Hu has returned part-time to produce and report segments on young scholars and alums from the highly-acclaimed scholarship program, Students Rising Above. KPIX airs these stories twice a month. Hu follows in Wendy Tokuda’s footsteps, who helmed the Students Rising Above series for many years until her retirement.
